Day Four - Friday, March 28
Venue:  The Delano

I wasn’t really planning on attending this party. I figured there would a long wait in a long line to just get in. Our friend’s phoned us and said “Free Mojitos and Shirts”, so we motivated ourselves to walk there. Big thanks to tamara for rsvping me for this party. We got in right away. The Delano is probably one of the nicest hotels on South Beach. The pool area is surrounded by beds and everything is white.  Note: a perfect place to nap.  But first, we had to get our shirts.

Levis Jeans sponsored the Shirt Printing Area. We stood in line for a little over an hour. We made tons of new friends while waiting plus tamara kept getting free mojitos while i held our place in line. Back to the shirts, you got to chooose 3 designs out of the 6 that were available. You could place the designs anywhere you wanted on your shirt. Our shirts came out looking so good! It was totally worth the wait.

Flat Hoochie spotted Miguel Migs and wanted to get into his back pack. Instead, we ended up just getting a pic with him.

Remember those beds I was talking about earlier. We claimed one and ended up chilling in the South Beach cool night air for a couple of hours. Life is so chill when you are in Miami.

After napping, we went to go wait by the main tent for Erykah Badu. Lucky for us, we ended up seeing Alex Barck from Jazzanova. I got some video of him. He was laying down the funk!

FINALLY!! Erykah Badu comes on for … maybe 10 minutes. It had been a long day of waiting .. but in the end it was worth it.

So its Friday night and you are on SOUTH BEACH. What do we do? We passed out by midnight.

Day Four - Friday, March 28
Venue:  Shelbourne Hotel

Day four was when we started taking small naps at parties. At this point, your feet hurt from dancing and you can’t really tell what day of the week it is. Your days also start to merge together. Even though i was tired, I was super excited that I was going to get to hear Rich Medina. Rich Medina!! The music was on point! We got there early so it was still kind of empty. We found ourselves a nice spot on the couches. It took a while for a crowd to get there, i think its hard for people to be inside a club when its so beautiful and sunny outside.  Eventually, a good crowd came in. It was nice to just close my eyes and have beautiful music surround me.

Day Four - Friday, March 28
Venue:  The Chesterfield Hotel

Qburns Abstract Message throws his QUESO party once a month in Orlando. This party was his Miami version of this crazy, fun party! Last year, we missed it. This year we made a point to stop by and spend some time with our orlando family.

Next we headed down Ocean. We made our way past this long line and headed straight towards Rich Medina’s Afro Disco Party!!!  

This was an event that felt like a networking party w/ really good music!!!!!!!!!
